I started a new job this week (same employer, same job title, but new role) and I’m honestly kind of frazzled from learning how to make radio again. I can’t really write anything intelligent tonight but there are a lot of good posts going around so here’s as many posts as I can fit before reaching the Gmail cutoff.

The biggest pop culture story this week was undoubtedly Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars. The image has become a popular exploitable across social media, and r/DankChristianMemes is no exception — for a few days it felt like every second post was in this format. Just like most of the takes generated by the event, most of the memes are bad, but hopefully you like these ones.

Middle Earth Theological Seminary
My friend Tom sent me over a dozen of these pictures taken from a children’s Bible and captioned with Lord of the Rings quotes. They’re from a Facebook group called Middle Earth Theological Seminary. Sadly, about one-in-ten posts from there is very “owning the libs” brand homophobia or transphobia, but it’s mostly good.
